The team members of Car 925 had such a wonderful time in the 2007 rally that we have registered for the 2008 event. We are very serious about meeting our fund raising target for Endeavour of $10,000 as a minimum and are greatly appreciative of our sponsors who are supporting us.
Being part of the Great Endeavour Rally is an experience of a lifetime and Karen and I are looking forward to renewing friendships made on our last journey and making new friends this year.
We are keeping our car number, "Car 925", however our theme for 2008 is based on Australian Icons/Legends hence our team name of "Aussie Mades". We will be dressed in theme as famous icons including Aussie Fans, Dame Edna, Ned Kelly, Andrew Simons, koala/kangaroo, Vegemite, Steve Irwin and Surf Lifesafers. A couple of costumes are yet to be finalised.

Fund Raising Target
We have set ourselves a minimum fund raising target of $10,000 for Endeavour. With the support of our sponsors and donors, to date we have banked $2,240.73, and are pleased to say we have another $6,000 in pledges. However, we still have a way to go to reach our minimum target.
Fund Raising Events
Fund raising efforts to date include selling raffle tickets and chocolates, holding free dress and dressup days, and collecting donations at various events. Our two major fund raisers for this year will comprise two trivia nights and we thank Alex Surf Club and Quality Hotel Burke and Wills for their support.
